Delight in an encounter with the Howler monkeys and the many variety of bird species such as the beautiful Turquoise-browed Motmot bird and the elusive Lesser Ground-Cuckoo, that come into view adjacent to our condo. Unique to our spacious suite, is a balcony off the guest bedroom that serves as a perfect base for viewing the wildlife on property.
The surrounding area will enchant you. Nature lovers will enjoy day trips to the many national parks and refuges in the area offering great opportunities for turtle watching, zip lining, spelunking, horse riding, and more. Cultural enthusiasts can wander the streets of Santa Cruz. Known for its cultural traditions and history, it is considered one of Costa Rica’s folkloric cities. The villages of San Vincente and Guaitil are a must visit to witness how local ceramics are crafted in the Tico style. Nearby Tamarindo is a bustling multicultural community and surfing mecca where you can find several bakeries, craft shops, restaurants, bars and discos. Liberia is the capital of the province of Guanacaste and the best example of the region’s culture. These towns are also your best stops for supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping and medical facilities.
